A small screen comedian was today attacked by a group of persons belonging to a particular community at Film Nagar here for allegedly indulging in "offensive portrayal" of their caste in a comedy show, police said.
Comedian Venu was assaulted by members of a community, who accused him of offending their community and hurting their sentiments through his acts in a comedy show on a Telugu channel,"
